Lancaster Private Hospital has effectively completed its inaugural robotic-assisted knee replacement.

Lancaster Private Hospital has successfully executed its first robotically assisted knee replacement.

Mr Merzesh Magra, a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, performed the treatment on February 24 with the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution.

Every year in the United Kingdom, approximately 70,000 knee replacement procedures are performed, with the majority of patients being over the age of 65.
